Hot classes at Soul Shine include our signature Hot Power Hour, Hot Restore: Hips + Hamstrings and Hot Restore: Flow. These classes are held in a room with five custom Infrared radiant heat panels, a therapeutic, clean heat source. Our diverse unheated classes include Core Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga. In addition to group classes, we also offer frequent workshops, private yoga sessions and we are a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School. She is a Yoga Alliance E-RYT 200, E-CYT 500 Teacher, Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider, Teacher Trainer, Certified Holistic Health Coach, Life Coach and Reiki Master. Emily completed her 200 hour training with Melanie Buffet in 2012 and her 300 hour training to become an Urban Zen Integrative Therapist under Pamela Hunter in Naperville, IL. She has pursued additional studies with Baron Baptiste, Kiersten Mooney, Rodney Yee and Colleen Yee and Jason Crandell. Emily has completed over 700 hours of training and has lead 200 hour teacher trainings since 2015. Emily began practicing yoga in the late 1990’s. Over the years, as she moved from Atlanta to London and then New York, her practice was “consistently inconsistent.” In 2012, Emily committed to her practice and enrolled in teacher training seeking a better way to manage stress and develop her personal practice. A CPA and business consultant, Emily left the corporate world after 15 years and opened Soul Shine Yoga in downtown Fairhope in 2014.
